This WOD is in celebration of Pride Month. In 1969 the Stonewall Riots were the beginning of the movement that helped the LGBTQIA+ community fight back against laws that were oppressing them, which to this day, has helped make huge strides toward equality. You will see the number 6 throughout the WOD symbolizing the 6 days of riots that took place. .
We will have 2 heats at 9:30am & 11:00am. Sign up & don't forget to wear your pride gear! .

We will be hosting our Black Lives Matter Fundraiser on Saturday, June 20. Proceeds will be donated to 1Hood Media. Time slots for the wod are as follows: 8am, 9:30am, 11am. All other classes are cancelled for this day.

You can donate to this cause through our Go Fund Me page and/or you can order icecream, cupcakes, etc. where a portion of proceeds will be donated. LINK FOR BOTH IN BIO!

During this unforeseen time, we understand the importance to stand together as a community against racism and social injustice. We want to do what we can to give back to the Black Lives Matter movement and are excited to announce a Black Lives Matter WOD & Fundraiser.

The workout will be held at Renegade Training on June 20, 2020, at 3 times: 8am, 9:30am and 11am. Each heat will last an hour, which we will promptly de-sanitize the gym and will expect athletes to practice social distancing. Sign-ups will open on Saturday, June 13, 2020 through WODIFY. The WOD will be announced soon! .

We will be donating the money raised to @1hoodmedia which is a non-profit that is a collective of socially conscious artists and activists that use their creativity to raise awareness about social injustice matters. We believe in their mission and want to help them continue to spread awareness!

Also, for pre-order, we will be selling Spill the Cream's Nutella Brownie Butterscotch ice cream & a variety of cupcakes and 6” gluten free cookie cakes from Frosted Cakery; all food profits will be donated to 1Hood Media. .

Last, we will be selling Renegade Training: Black Lives Matter T-shirts for pre-order for $25. Orders will be taken until Friday, June 12 at 7pm. A portion of the t-shirt profits will be donated to 1Hood Media. .

I want to address a few issues that have been circling social media the past few weeks.

The tragic murder of George Floyd has highlighted the social injustice of our nation. We will be hosting an in-house fundraiser to help bring awareness and support to these issues on Saturday, June 20. Details will follow soon.

The recent actions and words from CrossFit's CEO Greg Glassman has exposed someone who is doing the exact opposite of who and what he claims to be. His lack of sensitivity goes against what we believe in at Renegade Training.
-

Although it was a difficult decision to make, after 8 years of affiliation, I have decided that Renegade Training – CrossFit Shadyside will no longer support CrossFit HQ. Going forward, we will be ending our affiliation and operate only under our business name, Renegade Training. -

The RT Community has always been accepting, supportive, and adaptive. For that reason, I love you all and our community. I believe we will remain the same.
